The second, White Americans are generally on equal ground or better with other minority groups. I also don’t know why you single out white’s constitutional rights, when really every citizen has the same constitutional rights, minus convicted felons.

The third, it was obviously a first impressions comment. He shouldn’t even have commented on the case if he didn’t know enough about it… but any average citizen could have said the same thing. This comment doesn’t point to racism, only him not being fully aware of how powerful even a casual comment is to the public.

And by church, do you mean the sect. of Christianity he belongs to or the particular Rev. he had for a while. FYI, a lot of people go to church and don’t actually take to heart everything a preacher says.

I feel these tea party rallys are all about Obama and Health Care… Bush did quite a bit of economic intervention and civil rights breaching… but the masses don’t seem to realize that, and still believe they’re in the middle of the Cold War.
