We need stand up for our existing freedoms that could be taken away so easily.

Contrary to what Mr. Obama preaches, doctors do not support his plan. (Only 27% of physicians are members of the American Medical Association [AMA] -
the AMA is falsely representing the majority of physicians.) With Mr. Obama’s plan, physicians will see, on average, a 20-30% decrease in their incomes as of 1/1/10 due to Medicare cuts… some physicians will experience more substantial decreases. As malpractice costs continue to rise – and the option of tort reform is ignored – don’t expect your doctors to stand by silently. Soon, the physicians will start rejecting all government plans, including Medicare.

How does this affect you? You will not have access to the care that you have grown accustomed. In addition, access to diagnostic testing – such as stress tests, echocardiograms, MRIs, CTs – will be significantly reduced, as Medicare
is cutting reimbursement in these areas up to 40%. The convenience of completing these tests in physician offices will no longer be – instead, expect long delays waiting for these tests, which will only be available at hospitals. Be prepared; this will result in patients suffering adverse outcomes while waiting to receive these services.
