Mark Williams I think that Martin has identified his problem. He is a news reader not a news reporter. Big difference. Reporters ask questions and let the answers dictate the direction of the story. News readers get paid minimum wage to read words written by others and arranged in a manner that they personally do not understand. Y’know, like your local TV news anchor.

Who said that I was opposed to robbing BP to enrich me? Isn’t the entire basis of the Obama Regime about stealing from those who produce and give to those who do not?

Are you upset because I am buying into the New World Order and joining the gravy train? I am also curious to know why you disagree with the President when he says that I am in fact among the millions (not thousands) of people affected.

That is a direct cause of the spill that is affecting their lives. The spill is not allowing them to do business. Is the spill not allowing you to do your job?

You’re comparing the fact that a few things cost slightly more to people whose entire lives have been ruined.

I am going to have to agree with Tony that you are the lowest of the low for criticizing a plan that will force the people who ruined lives to help the lives that they’ve ruined.

What is “this”? Do you mean claiming that which Obama says I am entitled? I guess then that you say ‘no’ to what you are in line for. Does that mean that if you lose your job that you will not file a claim? That if you are due a tax refund that you will not take it? That you walk away from everything to which Obama says you are entitled? Will you be turning down your Social Security or do you simply feel that only some people should stand by and not stick their paw out.

Please tell us all what standard you use when deciding who may claim that which is offered to them. While we’re waiting on your answer I think that I shall scan the new Socialist agenda and see how much more of what others have earned Obama is willing to steal for me.

Do you understand the meaning of escrow Mark? The Federal Government did not extort money from BP because it has not taken the money. It has simply asked, and BP has agreed that 20 billion of cash reserves be set aside. If by some chance the damage caused by this disaster is under 20 billion, BP will get their money back. The escrow is necessary to prevent BP from distributing this money to shareholders or otherwise into entities where it will be difficult for tort claimants to recover. This is a totally fair and legitimate exercise of federal power–protecting the interest of the people harmed to get their day in court.
