Were soldiers Ordered to attend Obama Event?

“…the word out of Afghanistan is that troops were ordered to attend the Obama “breakfast” that has been all over the media and blogosphere. More to the point, some troops also were ordered to alter their identities, at least as far as their home states are concerned, for the benefit of the Senator’s campaign.”

    AHAHAHAHAHAHA
    This wouldn’t surprise me a bit…more to the point, becuase the military is A-politcal, meaning: they’re not SUPPOSED to openly display who/what they like for candidates…in the end, it doesn’t matter, because whomever it is, IS their Commander in Chief, period.

    However, be that as it may, WHEN an unlikely candidate ( or unpopular one ) appears, soldiers ARE ordered to attend functions like this….mandatory. Why? If they didn’t?? NO ONE would show up ( litterally ) Mind you, this might not be TOTALLY correct..there WOULD be a few Lt’s who attend, if not for the brownie points, then to see what the bru-ha-ha is all about.

    They will stand at attention, they will clap, they will show respect as they are told to do.
    Nothing more, nothing less. Pure show.

    As for the CIVILIAN side of this story?? pfffffffffffffftttttttttttttttttttttt…….and WHO in the middle of a campaign like this, will throw out the DUNG bomb against Obama?? Cause, that’s what it WOULD be, a smear attempt……..and that would NOT play well, at this juncture of time.

    IN, my humble opinion.

    ps……after ‘ u know who ‘ left, the part NOT reported: The blessed SIGH of reliefe that that ‘ useless ‘ duty is over with.
