We are making some serious progress! Now our chief ally in the state assembly needs 150,000 names on the “Fed Up At The Pump” petition. Here is a link to sign up on line (enter your name and email in the indicated spaces on the left side of the page). Hard copies will soon appear at gas stations all over the Capitol Region too, please look for them!
In the meantime you MUST MAKE THESE CALLS and send emails to the links below if we are to rip this bill from Speaker Sheldon Herr Fuhrer Silver’s death grip on the Gas Tax Holiday and bring it to the floor for a vote!
- Call Sheldon and DEMAND that the bill, already passed by the senate 46-15, come to the assembly floor for an on the record up or down vote. His number is (518) 455-3791 - click here for his email
Then call these key Capitol Region democrat leaders of the assembly and demand that they pledge to you that they will pressure the speaker for a vote… DON’T LET THEM DODGE THE QUESTION… DEMAND A “YES” OR “NO” ANSWER ON THE SPOT!
