President Barack Hussein Obama
I can call him that; he does, on his own campaign web site. Then there is the Barack Hussein Obama for President Face book page with hundreds of thousands of members. Barrack Hussein Obama is also happy to hear his full name from a seething anti-American, pro-Islamist activist named Jim Zogby who hosts a virulent anti-Israeli show on Abu Dhabi Television and carried in the United States on the unabashedly anti-Semitic World Link TV.
Zogby is also the founder of the Arab American Institute before which Obama appeared to vow surrender in Iraq and to establish a terror state neighbor to Israel. To be fair, other presidential candidates have also gone hat in hand to Zogby’s anti-Israeli lobby, but it is Obama’s official campaign web site that proudly features an endorsement from Zogby.
Two points about Jim Zogby; according to his profile on Obama’s site Zogby is not even registered to vote, although he lives in the Washington, DC area, and his bother is John Zogby. Sound familiar? It should. John Zogby is the political pollster whose polling always seems to show Barack Hussein Obama doing well.
The kicker is Obama’s viral video circulating around the world via You Tube. You may find it in the News & Commentary section of this web site (MarkTalk.com), just scroll down or use the search function. When you find it, you will see a number of Hollywood and music celebrities performing words from some of Obama’s speeches. It is the Arabic sub-titles however, that will catch your attention.
For what reason would a man running for President of the United States to be circulating an Internet-based promotional video with Arabic sub-titles? For what reason would he cry foul when somebody like me uses his name as he does?
Our likely next president is rife with deception. He cherry picks his racial, ethnic, and even religious identity based on the preference of the audience before him, and then uses the race card if anybody notices. He claims to be an outsider, a reformer not beholden to special interests. Yet he was a state legislator and is now United States Senator from Illinois, a pace where one does not attain such power and status without the backing of the notoriously corrupt Cook County Democrat Machine. Roll Call, a prominent Capitol Hill Newspaper, has reported that Obama’s campaign is also home to legions of lobbyists working “unofficially” for the candidate. The Washington Post has reported that while it is true that he does not overtly accept Political Action Committee money he has collected hundreds of thousands of dollars from executives of major companies in the pharmaceutical and agribusiness industries, usually from companies with big stakes in both Illinois and on the Hill.
As the Hildibeast spins out of control and becomes shriller and more careless, (she and Bill see their “entitlement” to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue slipping away from them) even her own staffers and contributors are bailing. Obama will be the nominee and, despite the Clinton’s best efforts, the Democrat Party will not fracture. Heck, it survived Chicago in 1968 it will survive this.
The GOP on the other hand is still searching for its moorings and a fine, heroic and good man is the standard-bearer. Unfortunately, he is running a campaign that emphasizes his foreign policy experience. Important, yes, but I care more about whether or not I can pay my mortgage as the business pages read more like Spring 1930 than Spring 2008.
Barack Hussein Obama will win because his empty words and lies appeal to the most politically illiterate, self-centered generation of voters in the nation’s history and who for the sake of a mirage are about to deliver American into the hands of a man who is campaigning with Arabic sub-titles and vowing surrender.
