Woman applies for jail job, gets new home / Ham for Chanukah
Two of the funniest stories I ran across in New York’s Capitol Region: this story on a woman who applied for a new job as a county jail CO and who instead found a new home.
The other one was a Downstate grocery store advertising “Chanuah Hams“.
Runner up was the Passaic, New Jersey police stop. Following a slow speed chase the female driver stopped, then took off again. So the Jersey cops squeezed off twenty rounds - point blank. Missed with all but 6, and still only wounded her.
