United Scarelines Part III

“sigh”  Tried today to upgrade to First Class and needed an agent’s assistance.  India again, regular business hours too.   So I called corporate near Chicago where I was told by the operator that what the Indians said to me last week is true, there is no telephone number to reach a U.S. based UAL customer service representative.  I asked to be transferred to an executive listed in Hoovers as having authority over this area of operations.

Wait for it….  India.  It is going to be one long-ass day tomorrow.   FYI, still no response from the UAL press office either, I’m not going to bother calling them to follow up.  Their corporate culture is one of biting the hand that feeds.
